Located in the back street of Boyanup is this somewhat surrealistic collection of old trains, steam engines and carriages sitting in the open-air or housed in a massive shed – complete with platform and siding.

The train shown was once used in the movie “A Fortunate Life”, the story of Albert Facey, with the scene shot just outside this main shed, with a background placed in later.

The museum is open to the public on special occasions but the caretakers are happy to show anyone interested through by appointment.
